Julie Gislason is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who works with individuals and couples, with a focus on issues unique to women. She is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with over 15 years of experience in helping women navigate life’s challenges. Her passion lies in empowering women to find their inner strength, resilience, and self-compassion.

Julie integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, ensuring a personalized therapeutic journey.

Outside of the professional setting, She is a parent, grandparent, avid reader and beekeeper. She and her husband of over 30 years live on a small hobby farm in Ohio.
